Sallie Dorothy Carney

Our loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, Sallie Dorothy Carney, passed away on December 8, 2015. She was born on November 22, 1922 to Carl and Mary Fenner, in Plymouth, Ohio.

She married Jack E. Carney on January 17, 1945 in Willard, Ohio. They had one daughter Elizabeth.

They relocated to Ogden, Utah in 1958 where they enjoyed camping and fishing.  They also spent several winters in Arizona.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Douglas) Marberger; grandchildren, Adam (Heidi) Marberger, Jack (Kristen) Marberger, Abby (Chet) Cragun, Jennifer (Ken) Brothers, and Jamie (Brad) Campbell; 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters Carolyn, and Dee Dee and her brother, Leonard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; her sister, Mary and brother, Tony.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
