Sally D. Hansen from Roy, Utah returned to her Heavenly Father and the arms of her loved ones already there on October 19, 2019. Sally was born to Vern and Hazel Dinsdale on September 26, 1938 in Ogden, Utah.

She spent many years living in Hunstville, North Ogden, and later Roy. She graduated from Weber High School in 1956 and had a career with the IRS.

Sally was married to Wayne B. Hansen for 25 years and they were blessed with five children of whom she loved dearly, Craig Hansen (deceased), Sheri Douglas (Mike), Lori Barnes (Steve), Mechele Hester (Rod), Angela Hansen, She had 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Sally is survived by her brother, Bill Dinsdale, Houston Texas.

She loved camping, boating, crafting and Lake Powell! Some of our fondest memories were swimming and sunning at Patio Springs, Shopping and lunch at the Tiffin Room while playing hooky from school. The most fun times for our mom were the holidays, decorating, making candy, dressing up for Halloween and lots of music!

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pat Moffett and Lou-Jean Chadwick of Ogden, UT and her brother, Tom Dinsdale of Perry, UT.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
