Salvador Perez Toscano, 93, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was born on June 2, 1930, in Campton, Texas, the son of Romolo Toscano and Rosa Perez.
Salvador married Guadalupe Daniel on October 14, 1950, in Idaho. Salvador and Guadalupe were married for 63 years before Guadalupe’s passing on December 19, 2013.
He loved music and dancing. He enjoyed gardening, especially his roses.
Salvador is survived by his children, Lupe (Luis) Gamon, Alfredo (Alicia) Toscano, Salvador Jr. (Clara) Toscano, Marcos D. (Marie) Toscano, Rosalinda - deceased (Valente) Zamora, Tina Toscano, Norma Toscano, and Isabel Toscano; 24 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Guadalupe; daughter, Rosalinda; grandson, Lorenzo Gamon; his parents, Romolo and Rosa; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
