Sandi Beazer Glauser

Sandi (Beazer) Glauser (52) passed away March 20, 2013 on her terms... at home, in Syracuse, UT, after laboring all night, with her family by her side. She fought like a true champion for the last 29 1/2 months against the ruthless dragon, leukemia!

Sandi was born on July 19, 1960 to Gary Dalton Beazer and Norma Louise Bushman. She was a Syracuse, Utah resident her whole life.

She married Lynn Glauser on September 12, 1980 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have been happily married for 32 1/2 years. They have five children and seven grandkids. Sandi always wanted her house in order and was insistent about making our trials "look good". This last trial was no different. We never heard her complain or question any task or challenge she was called upon to endure. She simply faced them head on and always trusted the will of God. She led a great life. She is one of those elite few who "was born of goodly parents"... "has seen many afflictions in her days"... nevertheless was "highly favored of The Lord". Sandi was a master at making people feel like they were her favorite. Throughout her life, even in her darkest days (and nights), she would make everyone feel like they were the most important person in the world.

She served faithfully in the LDS church in several ways and callings. She served in all organizations, presided over some, and had several specialty callings, many that were off the beaten path. Special needs mutual was probably her favorite. She quietly served preferring to avoid fanfare or limelight. Honoring and serving her parents and family brought her the most satisfaction and joy. She will now be serving a mission on the other side of the veil as her daughter Kaitlyn serves a mission to the people of the Dominican Republic.

Sandi Glauser is survived by her husband Lynn Glauser of 32 1/2 years, her five children: Bo Glauser (Jen Bracken Glauser), Jacob Glauser, Natalie Bouy (Steve Bouy), Tyson Glauser, and Kaitlyn Glauser; her grandkids: Abby Glauser, Chance Bouy, Kami Bouy, Lucy Glauser, Dixy Glauser, and Ted Bouy. Also survived by her mother Norma Beazer, siblings Debbie Porter (Kevin), Ginger Johnson (Steve), and Guy Beazer (Coleen).

Preceded in death by her father Gary Beazer and grandchild, Kolby Marie Glauser.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 25, at 11 am at the LDS church located at 3267 West 700 South, Syracuse, UT. Friends may visit with the family Sunday March 24 at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. from 5-8 pm. and on Monday, at the church prior to the funeral 9:30-10:30am. Sandi will be buried in the Syracuse City Cemetery

We would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff (our dear friends) of LDS Hospital East 8, for the loving professional care they have provided. In lieu of flowers send money to the Lynn Glauser recreation fund. Your generous contribution will be self served.
