Sandra Anderson

Sandy G. Anderson, 73, born July 14, 1941, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 25, 2015 after a long illness. She graduated from Davis High and was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Afton P. Anderson on May 2, 1959.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed reading, sewing and being with her family, especially her five grandkids and eight great-grandkids who will deeply miss her. She loved playing games with them and always inspired them to achieve great things in life, whether it be school, sports or any other activity.

She is survived by her husband, sons Scott (Ellen), Wayne (Jolene), daughter Kathleen, all of Layton, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Phyllis Pullen, and brothers Steve (Peggy) Goff and Gavin Castor.

Preceded in death by her great-grandson, Corbin Jacob Anderson, and her sister Margie Fry.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
