Sandra Grow Beierlein

Sandra Grow Beierlein, 58, loving wife, mother and sister, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 due to complications of Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded by her family.
She was born October 8, 1956 in Ogden, Utah, the youngest daughter of J. Randall and LaVon Masters Grow.
She married Stephen Beierlein in Ogden on June 10, 1976 and together they had two daughters, Stephanie and Stacie.
Sandy was hired as a teller at Goldenwest Credit Union on her wedding day and retired 16 years later as Operations Manager.
Sandy loved spending time with her family, traveling, gardening, crocheting and creating beautiful counted cross stitch pieces. She played volleyball and softball in adult leagues. Later in her life, she loved crossword puzzles, audio books, playing Bingo and her Nook.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Steve, her two daughters, Stephanie (Travis) Parke and Stacie Carter (Jerry) Gibbins, and her seven beloved grandchildren: Brandon, Colton, Kyler, Maggie, Tracen, Garrett, and Grady. She is also survived by her sister, Lynette Grow. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sandy's family wishes to thank the staff at Wasatch Care Center for the years of kind service they provided. A special thank you as well to her friends from Riverdale who stood by her throughout the course of her illness.
Friends and family are welcome to gather at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd in Ogden on Wednesday, May 13 from 6 to 8 pm. A celebration of Sandy's life will be held at a later date.
