Sandra E. “Sandy” Campbell

Sandra E. “Sandy” Campbell was born in Washington Park, Illinois on July 25, 1938. She passed away on June 7, 2018.  Sandy married George E. Campbell on July 7, 1957 in Xenia, Illinois, they raised two wonderful sons. A lifelong mother and quintessential homemaker, her home bore witness to her peerless sense of style and grace. Her skill in the kitchen was unmatched and was shared with many through the years. A collection of cookbooks numbering in the hundreds surely was the catalyst for this. She had a spark and energy for life that was hard to keep up with and seemed to make instant friends wherever she went whether in a crowd, at an event, or just in line at the store. Her constant curiosity and zest for learning new things was an inspiration to her family and will be sorely missed.

Sandy is survived by her husband, George, of nearly 61 years; two sons, Craig (Amanda) Campbell of Uintah, UT, and their children, David, Riley, and Amber; and Clayton (Yumi) Campbell of Tajimi, Japan.

Private services will be held at a later date. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
