Sandra Gibson

Sandra "Sally" Eve Roberts Gibson passed away peacefully early in the morning of Thursday, August 26, 2010.

She was born November 12, 1931 in San Jose, California to John and Adelaide Roberts. She spent her childhood in various locations around the Bay area.

Sally married George Gibson in 1950 where they settled in Stockton, California before moving to Hooper, Utah in 1989. She and George served two LDS missions to Kentucky and Detroit. George preceded her in death in 2002.

Sally loved people and could always see their best qualities. She faced the challenges in her life with energetic optimism.

She is survived by her siblings, Pat Holderman, Raoul Roberts, Bonnie Schraeder, Nancy Roberts; her children, Pam (Michael) Hernandez, Debbie (Jim) Carroll, Jon, Ken, David (Julie), Anna and Casey Gibson; 17 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28th at 11 a.m. at the Clinton 5th Ward Chapel, 2206 West 2300 North.

The family will meet friends for a viewing on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Hooper Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Sally''s name to Hospice for Utah, 5742 South Adams Parkway, South Ogden, Utah 84405.
