Sandra Denise Jordan

In loving memory of Sandra Denise Jordan (née Mott), who passed away peacefully at home in Syracuse, Utah on May 23, 2024, at the age of 60 after a courageous 11-year battle with ovarian cancer. Sandi was born on February 25, 1964, in Palmerston, Ontario and was the daughter of Dolores and Walter Mott.

Sandi spent her youth in Sarnia, Ontario, and summers in Port Elgin. She moved out west in her 20’s and immigrated to the US when she met and married the love of her life, Jim Jordan. Sandi and Jim started their life together in Wichita, Kansas and then moved to Utah in 2004. Sandi was a military wife who found joy in the great outdoors camping, fishing, and riding four wheelers. 

Sandi loved antiquing, watching movies, playing games, and selflessly donated to local charitable organizations. But above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and dotting on her grandchildren. Sandi leaves her warrior spirit and determination to live life to her daughter Amber Lynn Blackburn and son James Michael Franklynn Jordan and memories of joyous times to her many grandchildren. 

She will be greatly missed by her brother, Michael Mercer, and his family as well as the friends that her life has touched.

Family and close friends will be notified of the graveside interment service that will be held in Canada later this year.
