Sandra Lucille Bell

Sandra Lucille Bell, born March 20, 1948, in Kingston, New York, to Luthena and Robert Dougherty, passed away surrounded by family on December 31, 2024, in Ogden, Utah, at the age of 76.

She was the proud mother of four surviving children, Jon Bell (Lisa Thompson) of O’Fallon, Missouri; Tim Bell of Rice Lake, Wisconsin; Devin Bell (Vicki McCorkle) of Ogden, Utah; and Karen Herron (Josh) of Pryor, Oklahoma. She also cherished her six grandchildren, Izzy, Will, Edee, Ellie, Aya, and a baby girl soon to join the family.

Sandra’s greatest joy was her family, but she also found fulfillment in life’s simple pleasures. She loved sitting on her front porch with a good book in hand and cheering passionately for Notre Dame football. A devoted fan, she had been eagerly anticipating their next championship win. Known for her intelligence, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor, Sandra brought laughter and warmth to those around her.

Her memory will forever inspire her family, reminding them to cherish the simple joys in life and the love they share. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
