Sandra Kaye Duncan Noyce

Sandra Kaye Duncan Noyce, beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmothers and great-grandmother was called home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 after completing her 75 year mission on earth. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven LeRoy Noyce, her mother, Melba Davies, her step-father, William Davies and her father, Cloyd Duncan.
Sandra was born April 14, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended West high School and the University of Utah., receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Sandra taught school for a few years before marrying Steven LeRoy Noyce in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on August 24, 1965 and devoting her life to being a wonderful wife and mother.
Sandra was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. She served as a Stake missionary in Salt Lake City prior to her marriage, and as a teacher, counselor, music chorister, pianist and Ward and Stake Relief Society President. Her love for people and music permeated her life and touched countless lives.
Sandra was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good mystery story. She taught piano in her home for many years, helping to foster a love of music in the hearts of many children. She loved to sew and created beautiful dresses for her daughter and granddaughters- as well as patching and repairing torn pant knees for her sons during their youth.
She is survived by her sister, Patricia Lloyd (Max), her daughter, Suzanne Garrett, her four sons: Steven (Lisa), Scott (Frances), Samuel (Sherida) and Sidney, her seven grandchildren: Steven F. (Makenzie), Trisha(Tyson) Pulsipher, Jacob, Parker, Jessica, Brinley, Sierra and two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Oliver Noyce.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday June 16, 2017 at the Roy 16th Ward Chapel, 4524 South 2525 West. The family will meet with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
