Sandra “Sandy” D. Frost Tasker passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 12, 2025, in Nampa, Idaho.
Sandy was born on July 2, 1938, in Ogden to Lawrence and Emma Brett Frost. She married the love of her life, James Tasker, on July 25, 1968, in Ogden.
She graduated from Ogden High School. She worked at Paramount Bowl, bartending at several places including a family favorite, Jelbas, Bournes, and Walmart. She ran the football polls for Jelbas. She never missed a game. Sandy spent many years on active bowling, darts, and pool leagues. She was a proud member of the Eagles and VFW.
Sandy loved to knit and crochet beautiful things for her family and friends. She loved gambling in Wendover with the love of her life, James. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors. She always took her grandchildren on her many camping and fishing trips, teaching them all her tricks. Most of all she loved spending time with her family playing games such as Yahtzee, amongst many others.
Sandy is survived by Beverly (Mike) Mc Lenden and Vickie Carlucci (Walter Cook), of Idaho, Wayne (Annette) Wilson of Utah, Shelley (Javier) Gonzalez of Texas, Scott (Sabrina) Tasker of North Dakota; 23 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, James Tasker; her son, Jeff Wilson; four grandsons, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter; her parents, Emma and Lawerence Frost; and her siblings Kate, Lois, Robert (Bob), John (Jack), Vernon and Velda.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Friends may visit with family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
