Sarah Denise Lofquist 1943 -2010

Sarah Denise Lofquist, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, confidant, and friend passed away on September 15, 2010 after a battle with cancer surrounded by family, friends and loved ones.

Sarah was born November 2, 1943 to Clifford and Ileanne Harris in Delta, Utah. She was raised in Jerome, Idaho and later moved to American Fork, Utah to go to nursing school. In California she met and married David C. Lofquist in June of 1967.

Sarah worked in the nursing field for many years mostly with children, teens and young adults. She was a very generous and patient person loved by all who knew her.

Sarah is survived by her two children Martin and JaCosa and their spouses, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers and many friends and family that they brought into their hearts and lives. She is preceded in death by her husband David and her parents. She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Jordan View Ward, 1165 W. 2320 S. West Valley City. Friends may visit Friday from 6-8 pm at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sat. 10-10:45 am at the church prior to services. Interment Valley View Memorial Park. If sending flowers please do not send chrysanthemums, some family members are allergic.
