Scott Bingham, 53, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015.

He was born October 30, 1961 in Ogden, Utah to Melvin L. Bingham and Wynona Faye Secrest. He graduated from Clearfield High School and continued his education to become a certified unlimited welder.

In 1998, he married Janet Barrie in Idaho Falls, Idaho and they had two beautiful daughters. They later divorced. Scott was currently engaged to Tiffany McCann.

Scott was employed for 33 years as a welder for Jetway Systems. He took pride in continuing his father’s legacy.

He enjoyed restoring antique furniture, traveling, music, hunting, fishing and camping.

Scott is survived by two daughters, Nicole Marie Bingham, Madelyn Rose Bingham, both of Ogden; fiancée, Tiffany McCann, Ogden; step-daughter, Morgan; one brother, David (Beverly) Bingham, Portland, OR; one sister, Lori (Kevin) Lawrence, Roy; Janet Bingham (Micheal Kerswell), Ogden; very special friends, Jimmy and Charlie Weaver, and Lane and Shaurie Wade.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jeffery and Dale Lee.

The family extends a special thank you to the skilled staff at the University of Utah Burn Unit and the Intermountain Donor Services for their exceptional care.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
