William Scott Larson

William Scott Larson passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016.
He was born in Ogden, Utah, on August 24, 1956 to Ervin W. and Janiel Gale Larson. He was raised in Roy and graduated from Roy High School. Scott was a devoted son to his mother, caring for her during her illness.
Scott always wanted to be a chef growing up. He worked for Hill Air Force Base as the lead chef and manager for the officers club. Scott did this for over 30 years, receiving many awards.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved water and snow skiing. He also enjoyed watching and going to movies, going out to eat, reading the newspaper, and going to the monthly sibs dinner with his aunts and uncles.
Scott is preceded in death by his mother Janiel Larson. He is survived by his father, Bill (Susan) Larson; brother, Ken B. Larson; sister, Susan Jarman; niece; 2 nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. The family will meet with friends Friday, November 25, from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, November 26, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment will be held at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden.
