Scott William Hansen

Scott William Hansen, 66, passed away July 30, 2018. He was born May 11, 1952 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of Grant Kaue and Dorothy Warrick Hansen. Scott was raised in Kaysville, Utah, graduating from Davis High School and the Utah Technical College at Salt Lake. He spent his professional life repairing large household appliances in Davis and Salt Lake County.

Scott married Cynthia Jackson on February 9, 1986 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were later divorced.

Scott was a kind and gentle person with a fun sense of humor. He enjoyed playing basketball as a young man. He was an avid fan of the Utes. He often told people he was a member of the Church of Monday Night Football. Scott enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.

He was a fan of all the Food Network shows. He loved sharing the gourmet food he prepared. No one wanted to miss the meal that Scott prepared at their yearly family reunion at Lava Hot Springs. Scott was truly loved by his family and will be sorely missed.

Surviving are his daughter Summer Dawn (Alex) Crowder, two grand children, Mykayelee and Sonja, siblings, Grant Kaue Jr. (Gayle), Shauna (Richard) Dalley, Tammy (Steven) Ashton and Steven Enoch (Angela). He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment,  Kaysville City Cemetery.
