Scottie Johnson

Our father, Scottie Eugene Johnson was born July 19, 1973 and sadly passed away July 18, 2021 in his home in Bountiful, Utah after battling a heart condition. He was born in Provo, Utah to Juston (Rusty) W. Johnson, his father and Bonnie Lorene Johnson, his mother. He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1991. He went to Fresno High where he played basketball on the varsity team. He is survived by his children, Tanner, Isaiah (Victoria), Kenzie, Hailey, Reigin, and Zoie "Gaiter", his father; Rusty, and his siblings; Brandy (Karl), Tucker, and Shiloh.

Scottie had a passion for his career as an ironworker. He was driven, ambitious and stubborn. He drove his children to be successful as he was, and was there for them as they grew into successful adults. Everyone who knew him knew they could count on him.

He loved to be with his children. They enjoyed playing golf, reading, playing at the park and wrestling. He was incredibly hardworking, a prankster, extremely generous, and very stubborn. He brought a bright and positive energy; he knew how to make people laugh. Most of all he would never walk by a person who needed him and not help them.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, July 30, 2021 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E. where friends may visit family Thursday, July 29th, from 6-8 pm and Fri. 9:30- 10:30 am prior to services.
