Sean Lyle Empey
Sean Lyle Empey, 32, of Sacramento, California, passed away and returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.
He was born January 29, 1976 in Orange, California to Stephen Lynn and Vicky Simpson Empey.
Sean graduated from Bella Vista High School in Fair Oaks, California and subsequently attended Sierra College.
He was very intelligent and gifted with computers. He worked many years in the computer industry and climbed the ladder of success with ease. He was a very hard worker and enjoyed his work.
Sean enjoyed pursuing things that challenged his mind. He developed comprehensive computer programs including several which encompassed his passions, Chess and Scrabble. He was a gifted artist; he was a master at fractal designs where mathematical formulas are used to create intricate illustrations. His artwork is displayed in many places and loved by hundreds.
He had the unique gift to see inside the heart and soul of those whom he loved. He was very thoughtful of others feelings and always knew how to make everyone happy. He loved to be with his family and friends and was happiest when we were all together.
Sean is survived by his parents, Stephen and Vicky, Kaysville; his sister, Danielle (Shane) McFadden, Idaho Falls, ID; a niece, Addilyn; grandfather, Dudley Gibbs, grandmother, Vivian Empey, as well as many loving aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Stirl Empey and grandmother, Norma Peterson Gibbs.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends and family may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
