Selinda Maureen Hedrick

Selinda Maureen Henderson Hedrick passed away peacefully at age 76, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, in Ogden, Utah.

Selinda was born on March 27, 1948, in Lake City, Columbia County, Florida to William Lenville and Laura Erett Moore Henderson.

As a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Selinda held many callings including Primary President, Gospel Doctrine teacher and Ward Missionary. Most recently Selinda had been a worker at the Ogden Utah Temple.

Selinda loved education and attended BYU then later finished her degree at Athens State University, followed by a master’s from the University of Phoenix.

Selinda used her education to teach others and taught high school in Clark County NV as well as Salt Lake City and Layton UT. Selinda was most recently a seminary teacher for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Selinda had great love for her family, and it was very common that she would spend time with her son and his family by going to a movie or dinner. She attended as many activities of her grandkids as she could.

Selinda was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her son, L Sean Henderson and his wife Jennifer, three granddaughters: Ellie, Ava, Karlee, and one grandson, Kohen.
