Senorina D. Fraga Fernandez
Senorina D. Fraga Fernandez, (eternally age 29) passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2015. She was born to Eulalia (Sanchez) and Jesus Fraga and remained a lifelong resident of Ogden, UT. Senorina attended Ogden City Schools.
She met and married Manuel R. Fernandez in 1957 and together they had six children.
She was a homemaker, worked at the Ramada Inn, the Freeport Distribution Center, was a bus aide for the Deaf and Blind School, an electrical assembly worker at Bourns and most recently the housekeeper at St Mary Church.
Senorina’s greatest love was caring for her family and friends. She mastered the art of giving. When she saw a need, whether it be encouraging words and advice, a big hug, thoughtful gifts, running errands or visiting the sick, she was always there to help anyone in need.
She also enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren, gardening, watching her Novelas and loved to dance and listen to her Mexican music. Our “Mama” was our angel on earth and now will be our guardian angel from above.
Senorina leaves behind six children, Mandy, Manuel (Linda), Melinda (Scott), Samuel (Chris), Phillip (Tara) and Felicia (Jose); stepchildren, Yolanda (Paul), Alfonso (Josie), (Susie) and (Toni); 32 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, four brothers, Henry (Julia), Edward (Carmen), Arthur (Linda), Frank (Ernestine); and sisters, Linda, Annie; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who all loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel; her parents, two stepsons, Danny and Roland; six sisters, Amelia, Sofia, Dora, Martina, Avelina and Ester; and four brothers, Lewis, Arnold, Rodolfo and Justino.
Mass of the Christian Burial celebrating Senorina’s life will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 4050 South 3900 West, West Haven. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.

Mom, the void in our heart can never be filled as you are and always will be our Amazing Grace!
