Setsuko Tamura, 85, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017.  She was born on July 15, 1931 in Tokyo, Japan.  She came to the United States in 1957 and married Hikaru Polka Tamura in 1961.

Following her wishes no formal services will be held.  Friends and family will meet on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. where she will be inurned next to her husband.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers she asked that donations be made to National Children’s Cancer Society, at www.children-cancer.org.
