Sgt. Brandon Michael Gour

Sgt. Brandon Michael Gour, passed away on December 10, 2014 in Landstuhl, Germany while serving with the 181 ^st Signal Company 43 ^rd Signal Battalion.  Brandon was born on October 1, 1985 in San Pedro, CA, but spent most of his childhood in Commerce Township, MI, where he graduated from Lakeland High School.  Shortly after moving to Roy, Utah, Brandon joined the Army.  He proudly served his country serving in Arizona, Germany, and spent a year in Afghanistan.

His love in life was his daughter and he loved being a dad.  He also loved his Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Jazz.

Brandon left behind a daughter, Penny, that he adored; his parents, Rick and Jan Turner Gour of Richland Center, WI; brother, Jeff (Megan Ashley) Gour of Oregon, WI; and a sister, Megan Gour of Ogden, UT; grandmother, Pat Turner of Riverdale, UT; and Marilyn Gour of Clinton, UT.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends around the world.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mike Turner and Dick Gour.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 5560 South 2300 West, Roy.  Friends may visit family on Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be at a later date.  Service entrusted to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary.
