Shane J. Fisher, 69, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. He was born on June 2, 1954, in Ogden, Utah, the son of William Fisher and LaRae O'Neil Fisher Thorne.
He married Patricia Staten on September 15, 1988 in Farmington, Utah. Patricia passed away in 2022.
Shane worked in several retail management positions, but his most loved was at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Ogden, Utah.
He enjoyed classic cars, camping and fishing. He loved and treasured every moment he could spend with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Shane was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was quite the jokester and made friends very easily. He was definitely known for being a wise-guy and popping off sarcastic jokes or comments and laugh as he walked away.
Shane is survived by his children, Jacob “Jake” (Amanda) Fisher, Haleena Malone, Stacey (Dave) Liffick and Shana Fisher; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings, William Gary (Kathleen) Fisher, Terrie O’Brien and Dianna (Todd) Henningsen. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia and brother-in-law, Arnold O’Brien.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd.
