Sharen Anderson Johnson

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in Bountiful, Utah.  She was 80 years old.

Sharen was born on July 13, 1938 to Edward Anderson and Edith Swenson Anderson and was the oldest of three children. She graduated from Bingham High School where she met the love of her life and husband of 62 years, Larry W. Johnson.

Sharen is survived by her husband, daughters, Wendy Newman (Steve), Celeste Christensen (Brad) and son, Eric Johnson (Camille), brother, Larry Anderson and sister, Colleen Matthews.  She has six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Sharen was a devoted Utah Jazz fan and season ticket holder for many years, she was an avid golfer and longtime member of Oakridge Country club.  She loved movies, dancing, animals and their many excursions to Las Vegas.

Sharen was kind, loving, and generous and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery, Bountiful, Utah.
