Sharon Dahl

On December 26, 2013 this world lost a fun, beautiful, and amazing "people person": Sharon Gloria Strebel Dahl.

Born August 10, 1939 to Ulrich William Strebel and Mattie Lovina Wolter Strebel in Ogden, Utah, Sharon graduated from Weber High School and went on to a successful career as a program manager at Hill AFB. She traveled all over the world for her weapon systems support programs until her medical retirement in 1984. Everywhere she went, she was the life of the party. Her laughter was contagious and you could not help but smile in her presence. She made great strides against cancer. However her heart, though willing, could take it no longer. She led a very happy, successful and productive life.

She is survived by her sister, Noretta F. Huddleston who she loves, admires, and lived next to in their Arizona homes where they have many loving friends. She visited with her kids and grandkids every chance she could. Sharon had homes with her oldest daughters Celeste and Sandy, and with Trina, her youngest daughter, who as a nurse was by her side day and night. Sharon is survived by her husband and love of her life, Garry E. Dahl. Her children are Celeste (Sandy) Gleave, Robert W.F. Gleave, Trina Sherron (Jim) Keane, Garry''s children - JoDea Dahl, Kevin (Jeanne) Dahl, Jackie Wixom, Shane Dahl; with 19 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grand Children.

Sharon is preceded in death by her father and mother; and brothers, Rex Strebel, Carl W.W. Strebel, James F.A. Strebel, and Harvey D. Strebel. She is a SHERO to countless friends and family, who are inspired by her love, passion, and joy of life.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.

She is a friend to all who knew her, and will be greatly missed.
