PLAIN CITY–Sharon Merle Dolan passed away peacefully at her home Monday, May 23, 2022. She was born in Ogden, UT, on June 14, 1940 to Virgil and Bernice Garner.

Sharon married George Thomas Dolan March 27, 1958 in Peterson, Utah.

She loved to cook and was amazing at canning. She also loved camping, traveling, fishing, and always packed plenty of food for all of these occasions. She loved arts and crafts with her sisters and family gatherings. Most of all she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband, George; son, Thomas (Celeste) Dolan; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard (Janice) Garner and Keven (Debbie) Garner; and three sisters, Dolores (Tom) Hemming, Julie (Allen) Bennett, and MaryAnn (Bob) Jones. She was preceded in death by her sons, Leroy and baby James Dolan; her parents; two brothers, Rod and Ronnie Garner; and two sisters, Irene Mortenson and Shirley Schmidt.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

A luncheon will be held following the services at the Farr West LDS Church, 2123 North 2000 West, across from the old City Hall.
