Shauna Rogers Garfield

Born March 21, 1950 to Tyler & Joyce Rogers. She died at home surrounded by her loved ones on Sept. 3, 2008 after a short but courageous battle with a brain tumor.

She was sealed to her best friend, Thomas E. Garfield Jr. on June 21, 1968. Together they had 4 children, Stephanie (Trace) Workman, Krysti (Guy) Gordon, Carrie (Jose) Merino, Timothy (Angela) Garfield, and six beautiful grandchildren.

She had many loves which included nursing, quilting, and camping. Her greatest joy was the time spent with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. With gratitude and appreciation we wish to thank the countless people who performed hours of service for the family, including all the medical personnel, and the staff of Applegate Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Forest Chapel, 2250 E. 2300 No. Layton. Although there will be no public viewing per Shauna''s request, there will be a visitation from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. prior to services at the church.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
