Shauna Hyllested

Shauna Lea Hyllested of Layton, Utah passed away on January 4, 2021 in North Ogden, Utah. She was born in LaMesa, California on June 4, 1970 to Flemming Dahl Hyllested and Joanne Williams Hyllested. Shauna was a graduate from Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah.

She worked as a paralegal at Feller and Wendt in Layton, Utah. Shauna loved spending time with her three boys: Alec, Austin, Aidan and her fiancé Wade. She loved traveling to new places with those she loved most along with cross stitching, crochet, puzzles and reading. One of her favorite places to be was at the beach soaking up the sun.

Shauna is survived by her three sons: Alec Hansel (Kinsey), Austin Hansel (Haley), Aidan Hansel, her fiancé Wade Hasler, her father Flemming Hyllested, her siblings David Hyllested (Krista), Sue Mallory (Jake), Vicki Heisner (Brent) and Erik Hyllested (Annessa) along with 11 nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Joanne Hyllested and her grandparents (George and Mary Williams), (Jorgen and Betty Hyllested).

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Kaysville, Utah with Pastor Jimmy Pitts officiating.  Friends may visit family Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery near her mother.

Shauna’s family wants to thank her friends and family for their many kindnesses at this difficult time.
