LAYTON - Shawn W. Partridge, 17, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 at his home.

He was born on July 2, 1990 in Payson, Utah the son of John W. and Christine Searle Partridge.

Shawn graduated Marine Corps Boot Camp December 7, 2007. He was assigned to RSS Ogden and was serving as a Recruiter''s Assistant. He was awaiting orders to Marine Combat Training.

He liked the outdoors, boating, camping, fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his parents John and Aimee Partridge, Layton; mother Christine Partridge, Payson; brother Johnwayne Partridge, Goshen; grandparents Maureen Nieto, Goshen and Dee and Carol Searle, Payson.

Preceded in death by his step-brother Shane Gurr.

Graveside services will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
