Shawn David Swank

Shawn David Swank, 39, was born in USAF Hospital, Torrenjón De Ardoz, Madrid Spain, in 1985 to his parents Curtis R. Swank and Gail M Salcido. He was born with strawberry blond hair and all the nurses wanted to take him home.

He attended Clearfield High School before getting a job at Lifetime Products. He learned the basics of welding there and then got a job at USF Fabrication in Harrisville, Utah. He was a hard worker and loved his co-workers who were his friends.

Shawn loved fishing!! But he especially loved his mama and enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed riding his bike on trails.

Shawn is survived by his father, Curtis R. Swank; mother, Gail M. Salcido; sisters, Carrie A. Olsen and Amy L. Feller; and grandmother, Rosemary Fisher. He also leaves behind many others that loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Height Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
