Sheila Fae Hanson Shaw, 72, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at McKay Dee Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1949 in Tremonton, Utah, the daughter of Lyle and Elva Barfuss Hanson.

Sheila graduated from Bear River High in 1967. She worked for Thiokol, Bear River Valley Hospital, and McKay Dee Hospital where she retired in 2014. Sheila was an exceptional cook, and we all have our favorite dishes she would make for us. She loved fishing, working in her yard, and spending time with her kids. Shelia had a green thumb and loved to garden and care for plants. She followed several professional and college sports teams and loved watching games.

Sheila is survived by four of her five children. Sheldon Cody Shaw (Heidi), Wendie Shaw Mitchell (Preston), Jenny Shaw Nalder (Trever) and Justin Shaw. Also, two honorary daughters Naomi and Nicole. She has 14 living grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Sheila also is survived by her five siblings Julie Serrano, Dianne Neff, LaVar Hanson, Laura Jensen and Todd Hanson.

She was preceded in death by her son Chad Lyle Shaw (Diane), and two granddaughters Amber Knudsen and Khylan Shaw.

No formal services will be held at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

Any friends or family are welcome to attend a graveside service honoring Sheila on Sunday February 27, 2022 at 3pm, location will be Riverview Cemetery in Tremonton, Utah.
