Sheldon Rashawn Toines

On June 3, 2012, Sheldon went to sleep at home surrounded by his loved ones. He was 21 years old. He was born September 8, 1990. Sheldon was active in choir, theater and sports. He would do anything for anybody even though he paid such a high physical price to do so. He fought so hard for so long, rarely complaining.

Sheldon is survived by his mother and father Tina and Edwin Toines, sister Pilar Toines, grandparents, Bob and Doreen Aschenbach, and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Theda and Eddie Don Toines and his great-aunt Silva.

The family would like to thank all the physicians and caregivers who fought alongside him all those years.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.
