NORTH OGDEN a€" Shelley Anne Gibbs Isakson, 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, September 29, 2008 in Ogden.

She was born August 19, 1957 in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Charles B. and Donna Edmonds Gibbs.

Shelley married David Robert Isakson on July 21, 1977 in the Ogden LDS Temple.

She grew up in Bountiful graduating from Bountiful High School in 1975. She also graduated from Weber State College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1977.

Shelley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the youth and served for 17 years as a Young Women''s Leader. She also served in the Relief Society Presidency and in various other callings.

She was a fundraiser for the Pioneer Adult Rehabilitation Center (PARC) in Clearfield, an organization which helps people with disabilities. She raised over 2.5 million dollars.

Surviving are her husband, David, of North Ogden; three sons and one daughter, Eric (Chaulyn) Isakson, Ogden; Kevin (Jessica) Isakson, Norfolk, VA; Darin Isakson, Ogden; Holly Anne Isakson, Logan; and one grandson, Maximus Isakson, Ogden.

Also surviving are one brother and two sisters, Rick (Linda) Gibbs, North Salt Lake; Charla (Don) Hunt, Garden City, UT; Debbie (Larry) Tobler, West Bountiful.

Preceding Shelley in death were her parents, one sister Cynthia and her grandparents.

The family expresses special thanks to the Rich County EMT''s, University of Utah Air Med, and the staff at Ogden Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the North Ogden East Stake Center, 950 East 2850 North.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Stake Center 12:45 to 1:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
