Shelton James Allen, 25, of Syracuse, passed away on May 13, 2024, at his home. He was really missing his “gramps,” Robert Keven Thompson, who passed away following a brief illness in March, and now they are reunited again.
Shelton was born on December 31, 1998, in Layton, Utah to Raena Ann Rocco. His mother passed away when he was only 7 years old. After that time, he was raised by Robert K. Thompson and by his aunt, Margaret Ann (Rocco) Wiberg.
Shelton loved to play video games, golf, and go 4-wheeling. He had a contagious smile, was hilarious, enjoyed record players, drawing, and playing the guitar. He was a flippin’ genius. He was gentle and kind, a lover not a fighter, and he could be counted on to be the happiest, most helpful guy around.
He will be remembered for his goofiness, his infectious joy, his insane talent level, and creativity, and for his kindness.
Shelton, we miss you and we love you.
He is survived by his brother, Rocco D. Allen, Salt Lake City, and his other closest family members, Oliver Wiberg, Roy; Cheyenne (Jacob) Loya, Tremonton; Justin (Heather) Wiberg, West Haven; Ross (Krista) Wiberg, Champagne, IL; Jarred (Launi) Wiberg, Las Vegas, NV; and by his many cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Lindquist’s Syracuse Mortuary, 869 S 2000 W, Syracuse.
Interment will take place at 10 am on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Syracuse City Cemetery. 1250 South 1000 West, Syracuse UT.
