Sherie Ann Evans Pettit
1967 ~ 2018
Sherie Ann Evans Pettit, born Aug 20, 1967 to the parents of Howard Thomas and Charlotte Lafaye Hooper Evans of Layton, Utah. She attended Layton High School, and graduated in 1986, she leaves behind her loving husband, John Pettit, of Roy Utah, two daughters, Shelby Pettit Butler of Washington Terrace Utah, Kylie Jeneane Pettit of Roy Utah.
Sherie’s heart and life were completely devoted to her three grandchildren, Rylee Butler, Bentley Butler, Easton Pettit, her mother Charlotte Lafaye Hooper Evans Burgin, brother Brent Evans, sisters Debbie Tidwell, Jeanie Johanson and many nieces and nephews who adored her.
Sherie always had a kind heart and compassion for everyone, she could always put a smile on the faces of everybody who met her, she loved people, and they loved her. Sherie was a collector of precious family heirlooms and cherished memories of childhood like her teddy bear from her seventh Christmas, boxes of purses, and O My did she love her key chains.
Sherie loved to sing, and had a beautiful voice; she was the life of the party, and the glue to our family, and so much more. We will miss her phone calls when conversations ended in OK I LOVE YOU UMMM BYE. Our hearts are broken at her passing, and we have been blessed to have our lives touched by hers. We love you, and you will be terribly missed, our Share Bear.
