 Sherie Beth Schultz, 38, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Wednesday, December 17, 2014.

She was born July 19, 1976 in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Val H. Schultz and Linda Owens. They lived in Cedar City and later the family moved to Layton, Utah. After junior high, she went to Northridge High School and graduated from Davis Young Parents School.

Sherie attended the DATC where she received a Technical Associates Degree as a Certified Medical Assistant. She was employed at the Davis County Health Department until her health no longer allowed her to work.

Sherie loved her children very much and she always cared for them very well. She will be extremely missed by all. She enjoyed energy drinks and cola drinks.

Sherie is survived by her children, Austin Groth Schultz, Cassie Marie Groth, Kylee Lynn Groth, her parents, her sisters, Chris (Tim) Jensen, of Roy; Wendy (Chris) Shoop, of Cedar City; and JaNae (Ali) Al-Amri, of Salt Lake City. She also has many nieces, nephews and cousins who she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Steven Val Schultz, her grandparents, uncles and aunts.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 22nd at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
