Sherrel LaRue Draper Webber

Sherrel LaRue Draper Webber, 79, died on February 5, 2018 at her home. She was born on March 28, 1938 in Moroni, UT to Rendell and Roselin Draper.
She graduated from Weber High School and attended Weber State College. She worked at Keeley’s Café, IRS, Weinstock’s, and ERA Webber Real Estate. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She married David S. Webber on November 15, 1969 and they raised their children, Michele and John in the Ogden area. Sherrel loved traveling to Hawaii, reading books, chocolate, her bird Tweety, and spending time with her family. She loved dining out.
Sherrel and Dave were able to travel to many areas of the United States. There were several vacations to Europe as well as a good number of cruises they were able to enjoy together. She particularly relished the family trips to Hawaii.
Her favorite holiday was Halloween, which meant plenty of donuts and her homemade chili. She delighted in hosting an annual Christmas Eve meal with Dave, the kids and grandkids.
Sherrel is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Michele (David) Stephens; son, John (Cindy) Webber; her grandchildren, TJ (Chelsea), Justin (Lacey), Taylor (Jade), Devanie (Justin), Keaton (Sarah), and Taylinn; and her lifelong friend Kay Henley. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, LaDean, Earliss “Bud”, Connie, and Nedra.
The family would like to thank Dr. Grace O’Brien, Roxina, Rachael and staff, Inspiration Hospice worker Dan, along with the Visiting Angels: Paula, Kiley and Brenda.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
