Sherry Wallace Hurt

– Sherry Wallace Hurt, 62, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 at her home after a short battle with cancer. She was born January 1, 1951 in Richland, Washington to Elmer Wayne and Thelma Dugdale Wallace. On November 3, 1973, Sherry married Rickey J. Hurt in Elko, Nevada. She retired from Hill AFB where she was employed as a logistics supervisor. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, crafts, sewing, riding ATVs and golfing. Sherry and Rick spent many years as snowbirds in Yuma, Arizona. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Jason (Robyn) Hurt, North Ogden; Nathan Hurt, Riverdale; Kyle Hurt, Pocatello, ID; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Ruth Jean (John) Worthen, Murray; Judy (Leonard) Robb, Riverdale; and Becky Wallace (Jim Hill), Roy. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
