Sherry Lynn Ogea

On January 11, 2013, Sherry Lynn Ogea, 46, has left on her journey to share her smiles and love with others. She was born on April 15, 1966 in Lake Charles, LA to Charles and Rhonda Ogea.

She loved traveling, fishing, camping and being around the fire pit with friends, as well as horror films, horseback riding, biking in her leathers, and hanging in Island Park.

Sherry was an avid New Orleans Saints fan. She was a proud member of ABATE Weber Chapter and loved her ABATE family.

She came to Utah in 2004 with her then partner Dawn Riggs-Stueve. She worked at Target where she met her family-friends. In 2006 she met her soulmate and life partner, Deb Rich and was accepted by the Rich family as their own daughter. She loved them dearly.

Sherry is survived by her life partner, Deb "Earring" Rich; her parents, Boyd and Carmen Rich; best friend, Holly King Mills; and "Best Man" Zingo.

She was preceded in death by cousin, Stephanie Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 11:45 to 1:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
