Shirl Jackson

Shirl Jackson 46, passed away at home February 24, 2010. She was born September 16, 1963 in Salt Lake City, to parents Dallas Hansen and Tina Brandenburg Hansen.

Shirl was reared and educated in Bountiful and graduated from Viewmont High School. She married Terry Jackson on November 4, 2006. She worked as a Child Nutritionist for the Salt Lake City School District. She enjoyed cross stitching, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Terry; a daughter Tisa Hart; three sons, Shawn Hart, Andy Witt and Jordan Witt; one grandson Dillion, her pride and joy. She is also survived by her parents; a sister Julie Pohlsander; two brothers, Dallas Hansen Jr. and Ron (ShaRee) Hansen; six step children; Terry Jr., Damion, Michelle, Kevin, Treaver and Joshua. She was also survived by many special nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to her son Shawn, her mother and Lighthouse Hospice for the special care they gave to Shirl the past six weeks.

Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2010 at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends and family may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services.
