Shirlee Dene Morton

KAYSVILLE - Lester B and Rita Mann Morton brought a special angel into this world on February 13, 1957.  That angel left us on October 12, 2016 from the devastating results of colon cancer at the age of 59.

Shirlee left a special place in the hearts of everyone she met.  She was an example of kindness and a tender heart.  She remembered everyone’s birthday, and never forgot a face.

Shirlee met the love of her life “Clifford Wilson,” in the 3rd grade at Kaysville elementary. They were by each other’s side until his passing September 15, 2014.  She worked at the Deseret Industries, as did Clifford.  She worked at the Ogden store, and then the Centerville store for almost 30 years.

Shirlee was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Kelly and Leslie.  She will be missed by her brother Scott (Sarah) Morton, Kearns; Patricia (Kent) Beecher, Hurricane; Laurie (Kevin) Criddle, Kaysville; eight nieces, Tessa, Tricia, Jamie, Carie, Rita, Tonya, Chelsea and Tosha, 10 nephews, Jason, Jared, Joshua, Justin, Jeremy, Micah, Brady, Benjamin, Zachary and Austin, who meant the world to her.  They love her so much.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Kaysville City Cemetery, 500 E. Crestwood Road.  Friends may visit family Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 No. Main.
