Shirley Margaret Horspool Christensen

OGDEN a€" Shirley Horspool Christensen, 85, passed away on August 10, 2012 of natural causes. She was raised and educated in Ogden and was a member of the LDS Church. She was the ward librarian for many years.

She married Ferrol J. Christensen; they later divorced.

Shirley''s greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved them all very much.

Surviving are her four children, Sharon (Gene) Mayhew, Washington Terrace; Glenda (Bruce) Leslie, Sumner, Washington; Ferrol Lynn (Anne) Christensen, Layton and Scott (Linda) Christensen, Ogden; eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and brother, Glen (Coleta) Horspool, Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
