Shirley Gotchy, 84, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away Friday, November 12, 2014.

She was born November 18, 1930 in Fillmore, Utah, the daughter of Thomas Charles and Vanda Duncan Swallow.

Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was married to Stan L. Gotchy. Together they had five children.

Shirley lived in Utah her entire life in Meadow, Cedar City, Salt Lake City and Sunset.

She had two years of college at Branch Agricultural College now known as SUU in Cedar City, UT.

Shirley is survived by four of her five children: Annette Nay, Cedar City, UT; Jan Thomas, Roy, UT; Scott G. Gotchy, Ogden, UT; and Dan D. Gotchy, Sunset, UT; also by 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Lowell T. Gotchy.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S., Roy, UT. Friends may visit with family on Monday, November 17, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 18, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will occur at Clinton City Cemetery following the service.
