Shirley Ann Henderson, 77, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 surrounded by those who loved her in Ogden, Utah.

She was born on March 11, 1936 in Meadows, Maryland to Charles and Bessie Walton. She married Ray M. Henderson in 1954 and gave birth to five children. She retired after 20 years as a reading teacher for the Davis County School District.

She is survived by her husband Ray, son Ron, daughter Sandra, daughter Mary, son Scott, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters. She is preceded in death by her oldest son Wayne R. Henderson, five brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
