Shirley Morriss Jacobs

OGDEN – Shirley Morriss Jacobs, 81, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. She was born June 7, 1930, in Ogden, Utah to Clarence “Roy” and Melba Roylance Morriss. Shirley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended Ogden High School and worked at DDO. Shirley is survived by one daughter, Annette Jacobs; sons Larry, Garry, Rick (Helen), and Chris (Nenita); 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Dennis) McMurdie, and brother, Duane Morriss. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Faye Morriss. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park at 100 Monroe Blvd., Ogden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Eye Bank of Utah, www.utaheyebank.org. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
