Shirley Lee Hall Smith
Shirley Lee Hall Smith, our dear mother, passed peacefully from this life on September 16, 2015. She was born to Leonard and Jane Hall on April 16, 1934, in Long Beach, California. She is preceded in death by her sweetheart of 49 years, A. Neal Smith Jr. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti, Utah Temple on December 19, 1955. We are comforted by the knowledge of their joyful reunion.
Our mother’s life was a legacy of service. She taught school in California and for 20 years in Kaysville. While she loved music, gardening, and quilting the source of her greatest joy was family. She is survived by her children: Neal (Jan) Smith, Cambria (David) Blain, Kristen (Monroe) Hart, Eric (Mindy) Smith, and Gavin (Allyson) Smith, along with 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Tender Care Hospice for their kind and loving service to our Mother.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Kaysville East Stake Center, 600 E. 201 So., Kaysville. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
