Shirley Lener

Shirley Lener passed away July 15,2022, after a long battle with dementia.  She is survived by her 2 loving daughters and their husbands, her loving grandson and 3 great grandchildren and 2 nieces.

Shirley was born and raised in Australia, she served in the Royal Australian Air force during World War 2. She moved her family to Salt Lake City, Utah in 1967 to be near her sister.

Shirley loved to dance, play the piano, and watch old movies, she also played a competitive game of tennis until her early 70’s.

She took loving care of her husband for several years before his death.

She spent her last years at St. Josephs Villa where she received special care from Jenna, Joy and Conner and the staff. She will be missed. We will have an Afternoon Tea in her honor with her family later in the fall.
