Shirley May Wiley Rasmussen returned to her Father in Heaven, March 1, 2014

Born in Logan, Utah, 1923 to Vivian and Rudolph Wiley.  Married Kenneth M. Rasmussen, June 1945 in the Logan Temple. Lived in Salt Lake City moved to North Salt Lake.

Worked for ZCMI until she retired to go traveling with Ken. They went to Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, Denmark, Canada, Mexico and went from coast to coast in the U.S.  She loved to sew, crochet, knit, and plant flowers.  They went snowmobiling in the winter and went boating  in the summer.

Survived by one brother Ham Wiley, a sister Sally Eliason, two daughters; Peggy Hunting (Larris), Jackie Hall (Mike), 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by husband, parents, daughter Patty, son Kenneth W., great grandson, sister Mary, brothers Jack, Vic, and Rew.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 7, 2014 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 10:00 – 10:45 am prior to services.  Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
