Shirley Marie Vause Rypien, on November 22,2021, a beautiful daughter graduated to her extended family. Born to Frank James Vause and Marie Jenkins on September 11, 1930 in Ogden, Utah. Shirley was a mother to Frankie, Joy, Susan and Mike.

In the adventures of life, living in Utah, Guam and New Mexico with her husband, Frank and children. She worked and retired while serving her country for 29 years as a federal employee at various military installations. She loved the tropics and was a natural unborn Hawaiian. Shirley was a beautiful woman dedicated to friends and a great leader to various groups she participated in and especially to her family. She loved us for our individuality because we are all so different.

Shirley is survived by her three children, Joy, Susan and Mike; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and grandcat, FeeWee. She has reunited with her parents; sister; son, Frank; and other extended family. The reunion in the Spirit World is great, the ones left behind, we will miss you and we'll see you soon!

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
