Sidney Paige Wheat

September 6, 1963 ~ March 30, 2015

Sidney Paige Wheat, 51, our loving, wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend peacefully returned to her Father in Heaven on Monday, March 30, 2015.  She was born on September 6, 1963 in Salt Lake City, the daughter of David K. and Sharon Lee “Roni” Nelson Stone.

Sidney married her first husband Richard Arnold Ruttenbur Jr. on January 15, 1980 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  After divorcing Richard, Sidney found love again and married Shayne Dell Wheat on September 4, 2007.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a beautiful testimony of her Savior.

Sidney’s world revolved around her family.  She enjoyed watching movies and sports with her husband, loved playing with her grandkids, and spending time outdoors.

Sidney is survived by her husband, Shayne Wheat, Ogden; daughters, Jenifer Ruttenbur, Layton; Courtney (Wayne Jr.) Bulsiewicz, Provo; Jennifer Dereta, Shannon Wheat, and Desiree Wheat all of Ogden; nine grandchildren; and her siblings, Jeff (Marchelle) Stone, Leslie (Kirt) Milligan, and Traci Stone.  She was preceded in death by her first husband; father, David K. Stone; and mother, Roni Stone.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
